A nice parking and picnic area with trails over some good crawlin' rocks and up to the trail around the pond. Good trail runs and crawling. Plenty of space for RC boats too though I think the fishermen would frown on nitro so I recommend electric-only. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/gwj/recarea/?recid=73615 Photo of Pond: https://i.redd.it/uzalsgu3mgf11.jpg
A beautiful walk on well maintained paths. Generally easy going for the "drivers" but tons of challenging terrain to either side of any of the trails as you go. A good creek run area if your rig is waterproofed. https://www.dgif.virginia.gov/vbwt/sites/augusta-springs-wetlands-trail/
Trains, some plastic models, a good amount of RC stuff
There is a huge set of rock outcrops on the exit road that make for some challenging crawling. Also some open fields and a stretch of black top suitable for track type cars.
https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/234688 Beautiful 25 acre park with several nice trails around the lake to hike and crawl. Lake itself is ideal for RC boats as well. Dry land, water, beaches, this location has a bit of everything.
https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g58298-d10766014-Reviews-Fort_Edward_Johnson-West_Augusta_Virginia.html A nice and easily walked (though somewhat steep in places) "out-and-back" trail. Plenty of challenges off to either side. PLEASE DO NOT RUN YOUR RIGS ON THE BREASTWORKS THEMSELVES, THEY ARE A HISTORIC SITE.
Located near the Ft. Edward Johnson Confederate Breastworks trail (also a great crawler location) Ramseys' draft starts with a parking and picnic area, crosses small watercourse and goes back into some excellent rocky creek-side trails. Even more fun when the water is low and you can crawl in and around the creek-bed. Plenty of challenges and a moderate trail that is not hard for the "Drivers" to walk. The entire trail is around 8 miles long so for crawling it would most likely be an "out and back" on the first part of the trail.
New but growing fast, Luke's hobbies also has an amazing slot car drag strip.
I have not been here in person but I'm told that there are a lot of nice places to do a trail run and play with crawlers.
This is the parking lot area near the football field and the skatepark. Lots of rocks around the pond and several areas for good hill and rock crawling. The skate-park is excellent for bashing when it's not in use by the skateboarders (please be considerate). Also the large parking lot is fantastic for street racers and speed runs especially as it's empty 80% of the time.
Plenty of wide open areas and even a small playground that you can bash on if it's not in use (be considerate). The best attraction though is doing a trail run along the Frisbee golf course and in the nearby woods.
A nice park that winds it's way up Betsy Bell Mountain. The picnic area at the top is very rocky and fun to crawl on and there is a lot of trail you can run around on.
