A collection of river rocks and boulders at the base of a large tree which Merri Creek meanders around. Easily accessible by a walking path from the Newlands Road. Rocks are small enough for excellent 1/18 trail rigs to manage, or 1/10 to easily traverse.

Car access gets you directly to Corben Oval with lots of parking. The oval has a ring of old stone block retaining walls which forms a fantastic challenge path for 1/18 rigs. Probably too small for 1/10 tho. Easy relaxed crawl practice for small trail rigs in a safe open space.

A fabulous river crossing with a base of huge flat rock which the creek runs over. Very shallow in places allowing even 1/18 rigs to cross safely. Lots of excellent terrain to crawl over for 1/18. May be too flat for 1/10 crawlers but 1/10 trail rigs would look amazing traversing the water.

Turn left off Studley Park Rd onto Yarra Blvd and drive to the gates closing off the loop. Walk up about 300m up past Galatea Pt to find the trail entrance off the main road. Abiut 50m down this trail it opens up to a great rocky hill with a lot of interesting formations to drive around/over. Perfect for 1/18 crawling and 1/10 trailing.

An easily accessible section of river rocks alongside Darebin Creek as it runs under the Bell St bridge. Ground level rocks no more than 1ft high, so more for 1/10 trail trucks as a challenge but too easy for pro 1/10 crawlers - good for entry level testing however, and a great challenge for 1/18 or 1/24 scale. Park on Swanston St and walk down access side Rd down under Bell St bridge and you're there.

An amazing clearing of rocks and rubble along the embankment running alongside MO Moran Reserve, by the waterside, Elwood/Sth St Kilda. Easy access parking anywhere along Marine Parade and just follow the walkway down. Look for a gap in the bushes that will take you to the clearing. Excellent giant rock and concrete debris surrounding the clearing, great for medium difficulty practice in a crawler - the clearing in the middle is also full of varied rocky terrain excellent for 1/10 or 1/18/24 trail driving and a bit of hill climbing.
