1.5 hours from Christchurch amazing huge natural rock formations could crawl here for a month and not drive the same line!
Amazing waterfall with huge bolders washed down over the years if you have your crawler with you this is a must can get some amazing photos also , 10mins away from Lake Kaniere camp ground
1hour return to top of the hill , wet rocky West Coast terrain , can complete a 6 hour loop via a hut overnight if your interested in a large trail mish , check river levels before completing and weather as this is an alpine environment
Large volcanic rock section is very fun if your in the area 45mins from Christchurch good place to take the family for a summers day
Right on the beach front in kaikoura on the low tide has lots of amazing very technical rock formations that go for km’s!
10 min walk to the right of the campsite you come to Woolshed hill is very step and rooty and may be muddy during winter 4 hours return at a fast pace would suggest some hiking experience as this is a alpine environment
This is 10-15 mins from hokitika 30 mins one way up a rugged West Coast 4x4 track very fun and amazing views at the top next to a radio station tower
Stayed at rata lodge and found this gem of a crawling spot very rough vest coast creek with big bolders washed down over the years
Here on the corner is the start of the Styx river 4x4 track amazing views and a good place to hang out with rocky farmlands and muddy holes for your crawlers 👌
Short 10min walk down to hokitika gorge has some really cool rock formations to play with ure crawler on infront of its well known bright blue water!
Follow the steps down to the beach you will find some super cool very out of place looking rocks they are round like bowling balls and quite large !
