It's a park where there's a children's playground. And enough space for kickball. Both adult & children's swings. The bathroom was better than I expected, it was equipped with what I needed. I enjoyed being in the sun cause it kept my pain away.
The park is beautiful BUT not handicap accessible. You need to be able vto walk along a trail or downhill a steep path with steps. Also in the summer (July) the falls dry up to a trickle. My grandchildren enjoyed the walk very much but I had to stay behind.
It was nice and very clean. Lots of open areas with plenty of pavilions and playgrounds for the little ones. There's only one trail in the park which is a little disappointing, but it makes for a great thing to do if you're looking for a quick and casual hike.
The waterfall is beautiful in the spring when there is plenty of running water. In the summer the waterfall is usually only a trickle. There is not much walking trails.
One of the most beautiful and clean parks you can take your family too. Go see the falls and walk down the path to be able to stand on boulders right in the water. Not to mention the variety to playgrounds and swing sets scattered throughout. It's perfect. Had my daughter's first birthday there and renting one of the shelters were not only perfectly priced but the staff I talked too helped me pick the perfect one for my needs. Can't saw enough how lovely it is there!
