Fantastic area for crawling, an endless paradise of lines. It is also a great place to hang out and see an old mining town.Additional Notes/Instructions

So much fun for the family. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The kids (mine are 9& 12) had a blast. They loved the mine, the train ride the shops and the atmosphere. Definitely a must a few times a year for some family fun togetherness. Prices are reasonable and the walking paths with beautiful scenery is endless.
Recently visited Calico with my family and we had a wonderful time!! There is so much to see, do and learn. We spent several hours exploring all the history and shops as well as touring a mine, taking a train ride, and panning for gold!! The best part is that everything was totally affordable and worth the cost! We enjoyed lunch at the Old Miner's Cafe which was a great place to enjoy a bite to eat and rest before more learning and exploring! If you are in the area it's definitely worth checking out and awesome for kids!
Me and my 16 year old son had a blast there. Cozy cabins kept us cool in 104 degree and the night ghost tour with Maggie's mine was the best. Real friendly people . The best was the mystery shack that guy had us laughing so much good times great memories.
So much fun and good memories of when I went at a younger age. The young lady at the restaurant was not very helpful or friendly. The sheriff at the tilted house gave us a tour and it was fun. Gold panning the young man was very informative.
LOVE CALICO GHOST TOWN.
Ive been coming here for 25 years. I used to be stationed near by and i would take people here who visited me.
A lot has changed with the ghost town over the years actually. I think its probably for the better.
It has a much more fun feel to it.
Last year I brought about 30 people up here on a motorcycle ride. We ate at the restaurant. Everyone had a blast and then we took a nice group picture at the end in the Photo Saloon.
Fun times.
This place is great for families
