A really great spot at low tide, the rock formations are amazing. Take the trail down across the rail road tracks, when you get to the trail that leads down to the beach turn left. If you go to the right the trail goes to an overlook of the sea lion sanctuary where there are hundreds on the beach below. Often times when crawling there will be sea lions out in the water.Additional Notes/Instructions

I really enjoyed the hikes I took here. I never got to see the seals, though. This is a good place to pack a lunch or a snack, especially if you want something healthy. All the nearby places are basically burger joints. You can get a nice circular path jog in, once you become familiar with the terrain. I have seen dolphins here, and a hilarious warren of ground squirrels. (They want peanuts.)
This was a great experience for a bird watcher during winter season I got to see white cranes blue herring ruff footed hawk Falcons etc.
Quite large with some walking trails. Good view of ocean.
A wonderfully beautiful stop along PCH
Such a beautiful little walk. Trails were full of wildlife. From birds, Chipmunks, and rabbits, it only continued when you walk down the trail to the Sea Lion sanctuary. Beautiful spot for photos
