Beautiful trail! A fairly easy loop, you lose sight of civilization very quickly and are soon surrounded by lovely and varying desert landscape. Be careful to stay hydrated and use sunscreen though, especially in late spring/ summer, as there's not much shade along the trail. Also rattlesnakes are more active in warmer weather on this trail, so if you have pups, be aware. All in all, a wonderful way to spend 3 to 4 hours!
Always great hiking in the Supes, just an unusually cool weekend so had to take advantage of it
Great hike in a beautiful area around the Super Stitions Mountains. The hike is pretty easy. You have choices to go higher but if you do the loop it’s not bad. There are breath taking views every where you look.
Forced to go since the road prior to this one wanted ridiculous money per person (1 vehicle) this road dead ended with several hiking trails lots of people. Beautiful and free. Clean bathrooms but nothing else for family looking for adventure...keep driving!
Great place to start your Superstition Experience.
