This camp ground is awesome. It's in the gully of the mountains. Beautiful canopy of trees. We stayed in June and stayed pretty cool.
Absolutely an awsum camp sight, clean, well kept bathrooms are nice, bear box's to keep ur foods, drinks safe, water pump from Wells, trash lock boxes to keep critters out of, wild life to be expected & great parking right next to ur camp sight, nice hiking trails with very clear paths, caves to explore for most adventuress & has a big zip line park near by
I spent 12 days there it has its serenity moments but they come far and between all the high volume of traffic 24/7 due to the "boys academy" there whos only entrance is at the far end of the camp grounds. They charge $10 a day/night (an honor box system) the charge they say (NFS) is for the up keep of the facilities (3 restrooms w/ 1 toilet per). and the campground. In twelve days i witnessed one NFS woman one day about 45mins hose out the three restrooms. Not once did i witness anyboby clean up the campgrounds or even a ranger to check on the place. Other then that "I Love The Place" heres a couple pics.โ
Pretty cool place to camp. A bit too much traffic due to the school that uses the road through the park. Employees of the school disregard the posted speed limit.
Love this place, cooler temps and not that far from Casa Grande
