Beautiful Park, had no idea that this park is only an hour and 20 min from home. We will becoming here more often. Bathrooms are older, but very clean. Their cabins look really nice, hiking, biking, beach lake fishing, lots to do. Can't wait to come back. Also 30 min from Amish Country!
This Indiana State Park is a very special place to visit. So much Pristine Nature and Beauty go be surrounded with. It was mostly vacant so the Quietness was extra special. We had a nice cookout and some read and relaxation time before some hiking. We visited the Nature Center then did some more hiking! All in all a very enjoyable visit!
Beautiful park, laid out thoughtfully so that even when full on the weekend we didn't feel crowded. And when the weekenders left we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Wonderful paved bike path takes you through wooded areas that feel other-worldly. Really enjoyed our stay there.
This is one of the nicest state parks where we have stayed. The lots are level with plenty of room. Lots of trails for hiking and biking. The restroom are clean and the camp store has an array of items. A little overpriced but you are out in the middle of nowhere.
Great place for families. Rugged hike to highest point in northern Indiana was nice. Took a little effort for this 48 yr old mom but it was nice to get to the top. Would have been nice to see a little more scenery through the ivy and woods.
