We did a small hike. I'm 7 months pregnant and I have a 3 year old. Thankfully I had the All Trails app because the trail they listed was not well tended. There was a ton of poison oak when you get into the lower shaded areas and the path is really narrow. Parts of the path we had to go through we had to climb straight up rocks so that was interesting. Lots of graffiti unfortunately on the rocks with easier access. If you explore more there are some with less. Views were spectacular and the drive up was sublime. $10 for a day pass. Not many restrooms so find one before you go on your hike. Park was well kept. Restrooms surprisingly had all the amenities. Took us 2 hours to get through the 0.8 mile hike with lots of detours and a snack break. Wear pants!!!
We love this place. Many of the huge sandstone boulders are easy for most of the family to climb. A few are challenging for kids and other beginning climbers, though.
Had a blast with my family! Make sure you use your map because it is easy to get lost at some parts. The rocks look slippery but most are not and it makes it easy to climb! It's very beautiful scenery and a fun place to go with just about all ages. Just know it's $10 to park.
Lots of easy trails with nice views. I enjoyed climbing up onto sentinel Rock.
There are a good amount of parking spaces here. No restrooms that I could find.
The rocks themselves have lots of history with the wind holes and the holes used by the Native Americans for grinding acorn meal.
Unfortunately there is a ton of graffiti and damage to the rock formations. People have carved their names into the sandstone and climbed all over them leaving footholes.
