I personally love squires castle I have always gone to it after work late night with my friends to hike the trail day and night. Trails are beautiful long and can Connect to other part of the park. I would definitely recommend it for hiking, cooking out, just all around family and friends fun 😁
Amazingly wonderful area if you want to hike, picnic, or fly a kite/drone really anything. This area is very nice place to get away from all the city. Just chill in the woods or park. Normally quiet and relaxed. If you want a open area or a woodsy area it has both and they are awesome. Get to see some wildlife and relax.
We got married at Squire’s Castle in June 2019. It is a gorgeous and whimsical park to visit, and an even better place to tie the knot. Trails are great, with excellent parking, and a huge lawn to run with kiddos or pets. Park visitors were super respectful during the ceremony, and even though there was a bit of rain, the surroundings were charming and perfect for our wedding. We were in constant communication with park officials- particularly Joyce- and they were nothing but helpful and professional. This park is wonderful and we will be visiting often!
My husband and I got married here!!! And our photos look amazing! The ceremony was something out of a fairytale!! It was magical!!! The park is an amazing park with walkong trails behind the castle! Great place to just come see the castle of you want. Come have a picnic. Family gatherings. Or a fun filled day full of hiking. I love this park. 💖
I stopped here on my way driving from Chicago to NewYork.. I thought it would be a fun place to stretch my legs and walk around a bit... It was so pretty, and many trails to hike along just behind the castle. Parking was free and super easy right off highway. Great place for picnic, play with dog or kids, etc. I would stop back here again for sure.
