Short hike to a beautiful water fall. The water fall is 3 tiers and is gorgeous! Lots of rocks and trees around the water fall and it makes for some beautiful pictures. The hike to and from the water fall is rocky. When it rains, part of the trail will have running water, so take an extra pair of shoes and socks. The park ranger stated the the trail to top of the water fall is no longer open, only the trail leading to the bottom. It is an uphill hike and you will burn some calories! Very peaceful! The only complaint, there is not a restroom.
A fun fairly easy hike. It does have steep Rocky areas but is not very long distance wise so it was easy for us to hike to with our toddler in his backpack carrier. We saw lots of flowers, colorful butterflies, frogs, crawfish and some kind of non aggressive snake. I had cell reception the full way there and back which is always nice for potential emergencies. The waterfall is pretty and it was enjoyable to splash in the water. Seems like a well used trail, we encountered plenty of other hikers.
The wife loves waterfalls and this little gem doesn't disappoint. It was absolutely beautiful. The trail was a little steep and rocky but it was totally worth it. Loved wading in the cold cold water before turning back.
Definitely follow the rules and keep your dog on a leash! It’s a beautiful hike.
Nice trail with a cute little falls area at the end. Good workout with some very pretty views.
