Fun and pretty challenging 1-mile hike. It definitely doesn't feel like a mile with all the ups and downs and rocks. Saw some climbers while we were there, too. The trail markers can be hard to find at times and don't seem to be maintained very often, but if you're careful, you can stay on trail relatively easily. Trashcans have been installed in a few places which has really helped keep the area litter-free.
Felt like mini version of Kentucky's Red River Gorge. Super cool. Even ran across a 3ft + black rat snake on the top of the ledges (photo posted of snake)
Beautiful paths lots of hiking trails just discovered this incredible place looking forward to a lot of exploring
I've been going here for years. It's a great place for hiking and exploring! Bring some good footwear .. there are some big rocks to climb!
I've been hiking at Whips Ledges for over 30 years. Beautiful rock formations!
